ATI Refueling Tanks are engineered to withstand the toughest conditions, giving you durability and peace of mind. These tanks are designed for commercial, state, and industrial applications, holding and dispensing fuels safely and legally.

Split Refueling Tanks are engineered for users who need to transport and refuel two separate fluids safely and legally. Ideal for gasoline, diesel, methanol, kerosene, aviation fuel, and more, these tanks allow you to carry two different fuels in one tank system without risk of cross-contamination.

Available in L-Shape and Rectangle designs, each tank comes in 72, 85, 95, and 110-gallon capacities, with the total capacity evenly split into two separate compartments. This design makes it easy to store and dispense two fuels simultaneously, whether on a flatbed or in the bed of a pickup truck.

Each tank includes two 2" NPT bungs, giving you the flexibility to position the fuel fill cap and transfer pump on whichever side fits your setup best. Built from rugged diamond plate aluminum with fully welded baffles, ATI Split Refueling Tanks are durable, dependable, and designed to perform in demanding industrial and commercial applications.

Special Permit, DOT approved Aluminum Tank Industries

Aluminum Tank Industries, Inc. (ATI) has been granted a special permit from the U.S. Department of Transportation for its aluminum refueling tanks.

This permit allows you to refuel equipment, machinery, or vehicles without removing the fuel tank from your vehicle. ATI is authorized to manufacture, mark, and sell refueling tanks that safely store and dispense gasoline, diesel, methanol, aviation fuel, and kerosene in capacities up to 119 US gallons.

Most "transfer tanks" on the market are designed only for transporting non-flammable liquids. ATI’s refueling tanks are specifically designed and DOT-approved for both transport and on-vehicle refueling of flammable fuels. The special permit ensures that these tanks meet stringent federal safety standards, making them legal for private, commercial, and state use.

Navigating fuel regulations can be confusing. The DOT allows companies to build transfer tanks for diesel or other non-flammable liquids, but manufacturers must comply with detailed design specifications. Normally, the DOT does not verify compliance unless there is an incident, meaning many tanks are only legally suitable for limited private use.
